Expressing all of the various nuances of your brand consistently across all channels is essential to developing brand awareness. Before you can do that, though, you need to determine your brand’s voice. How will you say the things you need to say?
Of course, that will be largely dependent upon your brand values and other key indicators, but it should also take your target audience into account. A common saying is that you wouldn’t say the same things to your grandmother that you would to your girlfriend. We spend our lives tailoring our speech and mannerisms to the people around us, and the same concept should apply in branding and marketing.
